Burning Tree Club is seeking a dedicated Assistant Superintendent to join our team. As an Assistant Superintendent, you will work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent to ensure the course is kept in excellent condition for our members and guests. Responsibilities include supervising and training maintenance staff, implementing course maintenance schedules, and ensuring all equipment is properly maintained and used. The successful candidate will have a strong knowledge of turf management practices, irrigation systems, and pesticide applications. Additionally, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role. This is a great opportunity for an individual passionate about golf course maintenance and looking to advance their career in the industry.
Bachelors, Associates/Certificate in Turf, Horticulture or Arboriculture is required
Minimum of 2 years experience in golf course maintenance
Knowledge of turf management practices, irrigation systems, and pesticide applications
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work in a dynamic and team-oriented environment
